First Time Travelling Without Parents

Phew! The presentation is finally done. Now all I need to do is take the train tomorrow morning and reach Mumbai and do the final presentation for my school. I am so nervous because am traveling first time without my parents. All the students there are traveling without parents because the school wants us to learn how to manage ourselves while traveling. It is a very big step for me because I haven't traveled all alone at all. My parents have been always with me, but it is just for a few hours and after I reach Mumbai I will do the presentation and then reach my home back with a train in the evening. I will first start by packing my bag. I have to take my laptop, water bottle, phone, earphones, train ticket and my wallet for food and for other stuff. It didn't take long to pack my backpack. Well, I will sleep now because I need a good sleep because tomorrow is a big day, me traveling alone for the first time and my big presentation which could make one of the richest children! I turned off the lights and slept. The next morning I woke up and had delectable eggs for breakfast and then took a nice and cold shower.

After getting ready my parents came to drop me at the train station. We reached the station and my parents bid adieu to me. I sat on my train and it was only a 3 hour journey so it was easy for me. After sitting I called my parents to let them know I have seated. I had a whole compartment to myself so I felt safe because the compartment could also close to make it more private. I was revising my presentation the whole journey. I finally reached. I called my parents to inform them that I have reached. Afterward, I took a taxi from the station to the school. After reaching the school I quickly gave my presentation and then went to a nice restaurant for some scrumptious lunch. I had pav bhaji and bada pav. Mmm, the food was so tasty but not as tasty as home food. Afterward, I took an auto-rickshaw and then went to the train station for my train. After reaching I got to know that my train had been delayed for 3 hours! I couldn't handle that so I canceled my ticket and got a refund and with the same money, I instead booked another ticket for my home with the same type of train which was going in 5 mins. After being seated I again called my parents to let them know about my situation and they were happy to know that I am still reaching on time! I finally reached my city and saw my parents waiting for me. I ran and gave them a nice and tight hug. I told them about my beautiful day while we were on the way to my home!
