First Draft

Radhika, are you sure?

Naren asked her for the third time. She said yes again.

Naren owns India's biggest publishing company.

But, one thing he wishes is to publish the book started by Krishna. Krishna is a close friend of Naren who died suspiciously while writing a new book for Naren's publishing house.

Krishna is awarded as Author of the Decade from the Indian Press.

Police investigated and declared that the death of Krishna happened due to a heart attack. It is a natural cause and Doctors have already given reports about his cardiac surgery in the past.

Radhika is a bright girl who joined for an internship in Naren's publishing company. While no one is interested to complete the novel started by Krishna, she came forward to do it.

Radhika took the first draft written by Krishna. She went to her room and freshen up before sitting to read the first draft written by Krishna.

To her surprise, the story is barely started. Only characters are introduced in the first ten pages. When she sees the eleventh page there is only one sentence written on it. 

"Just destroyed by the CreATor". She turned the pages but nothing has been written further.

Radhika got confused. She read the draft again and stuck it on the 11th page.

She tried to write further but no idea came how to proceed with the story which was started by a popular author.

She has seen the clock and it was almost night. 

Power tripped and she lighted a candle.

She wrote the last sentence in her diary.

Just destroyed by the CreATor.

She underlined the words in the capital. This abnormal. Krishna never wrote like this before in the ten pages.

TAJ and Just destroyed by Creator.

She thought it was a puzzle. TAJ might be TAJ MAHAL here and it's the creator is Sha Jehan. Technically he constructed means he can be attributed as a creator.

But, TAJ MAHAL is not destroyed by him. It is still drawing the attention of visitors.

She has listened to the story about TAJ MAHAL. Sha Jehan ordered to cut off the hands of labor who worked in the construction of TAJ MAHAL.

Her mother called her for dinner.

While the electricity is resumed Radhika and her mother started eating the parathas.

Maa, I have a doubt. Do you think Sha Jehan ordered to chop off those workers' hands who built TAJ MAHAL?

I do not know the facts. But some stories say he ordered those people has to work only for him.

It is like the restriction of creative freedom and opportunities. Her mother replied and sipped some water.

Radhika went to the office the next day. 

She still believes Krishna's death might not be natural.

While She is searching for the Company's hard drive she found a document. It is an agreement between Krishna and the Publishing Company. Krishna signed by agreeing that he won't publish his stories with any other company with Naren's publishing company.

Radhika felt helpless by knowing it. Sometimes it's better not to know the truth. She said to herself and decided to stay calm till the internship was completed.
