''Come in'', said Bhuvan Chakraborty to his son in law. ''Pranam, bari maa, I have something even more to tell about your beloved daughter-in-law''.
''What else do you have to say about Parvaati, we have already heared a lot'', said Bari Maa. Bhuvan Chakraborty retorted, '' There is nothing more shameless than hearing my own wife dancing with ''. 'Kali babu making a witty facial gesture murmured in a low tone, ''When I will be saying what I want to say, then............''. Bari Maa in a haste replied, ''What do you want to say?'' Kali babu retorted, '' I should not say this ,because it is something very shameful but I also cannot keep myself from saying this....aaa...pp....your Parvaati was in love...and is in love with...Dev....Devdas''.
''Devdas? who is Devdas?,''replied, the perplexed Bhuvan Chakraborty. Kali Babu, with a smirk in his face replied, '' Devdas is her neighbour and friend, they did have a relation and she stills has not let the lamp of love extinguish in the heart''. Bhuvan Chakraborty's mother was left in tears, out of shame, anger and repentance. But know one cared about Parvaati, her emotions, her feelings, her love and her sacrifice. Kali babu left the room with a suppressed laughter.
With a sonorous voice, Bhuvan Chakraborty summoned her wife. With lowered eyes, Parvaati entered the room. ''Devdas......!'',uttered Chakraborty babu.
Parvaati looked up. ''Yes, Jamai Babu has said everything''. ''Yes, I never forgot Dev...he was my first love as yours''....said Parvaati. ''What do you mean''? ''You also could not forget your first wife who was your first wife'' retorted Paro. ''But, she is dead now, said Chakraborty babu. ''I cannot accept you as my wife anymore. You must reach to your love instead of caging yourself here''. Paro was speechless, her eyes kept on talking but her lips stood still. ''Please leave, Parvaati''. Paro ran....she ran like she had run to bid Dev when he had left for London, but this time with quadruple love, pain. She went out of the mansion and reached Chandramukhi's dancing place.
Dev was then sitting and binging on drinks. Parvaati took the glass and threw it, it broke into a hundred pieces. Dev was surprised to see her at that moment, in that state, crying with pain and also with happiness. On hearing the noise of the glass, ''Chandramukhi also came''. Out of amazement Chandramukhi said, '' Paro...you?'' Paro sobbing, narrated everything. Devdas who had also feelings for the dancing girl, Chandramukhi, forgetting everything hugged Paro. The love pairs broke into tears as they finally united. Devdas did have feelings for Chandramukhi but he Paro was his first friend, his first neighbour and his first love. He loved Paro eternally.
Chandramukhi who was dancing girl, who was never accepted by the society, as usual did not get love in the end. She lived in a place where love was traded and respect was looted but she did get to learn the true definition of love at the end.
