ACT 1 SCENE 1

( The kingdom Ganambawa was given to chirayu and now he had given off to his son devaksha. Meanwhile Indrajaya, son of 

Devamuki, also was ready to give his kingdom,Lekha to his son pranakrith) 

 Indrajaya: We have to call brahmins to perform rituals of pranakrith‘s coronation

Adwena:yes,my lord.you are right. 

Klesha: But my Lord, you have seen pranakrith since his childhood. You have also known how cruel is he. He drinks and wastes money from Royal treasury. He don't help his citizens when their in trouble. Can he be fit to be a king ? 

Indrajaya: yes, I accept your words klesha , but it's my duty to give him crown. yet I don't want to give him, but I should. 

 

Adwena: you are right. even though he have unkind behavior, we must crown him.

klesha: my Lord, I have an idea. why can't we wait for two more years. maybe he will change his way of being. 

Indrajaya:That sounds good. Chirayu already finished his duty and went to exile .Then how can I be still here. what will people think about me? 

Adwena: My Lord it's better not to see what they have finished and kept pending. 

chirayu have done so because his son's behavior is good . They give respect to their elders word's and when chirayu say ‘do this ’ then it is performed by them. However Devaksha is a good ruler. but our situation is not like what theirs is. we have situation exactly opposite of theirs and it's better not to implement their idea's. 

Klesha: yes my Lord. we have to postpone this ceremony for two more years. 

Indrajaya: as you all are my minister's Iam with your words. 

klesha: It shall be announced tomorrow my Lord. 

  

Scene 2

         

( In court meeting, king and his brother's are planning to say what they have discussed) 

Indrajaya: Me, the king of lekha, decided to postpone Pranakrith’s coronation

Pranakrith: Father how can you do that. you have said that by this year you will make me king. 

Diwik: yes, father, you have said that 

Klesha: your father have said so but now he himself said it is postponed

Pranakrith: This is unfair. Soon we have to prepare for a war. Our neighbor kingdom has prepared a large army to attack on us. 

We have to show our pride in Warfield

and when you, uncle klesha, fight there your red blood mixes with your sweat and become translucent by this the ground becomes wet and when tears of sorrow fall in war ground it becomes fully dreanched. so, to avoid it tell your king to crown me ny which I can save you all from valcures

eating your flesh. 

Adwena: your still kid pranakrith

Pranakrith: your saying so because you don't have dare to fight with me 

Adwena: Pranakrith be at your limit. I can fight with you. If you can question then I can answer. Iam ready. 

                 

                      lifts his bow 

Thathwakethu: peace. stop your quarrel

you guys don't have any rights to dismiss kings order. Pranakrith, shut your mouth and follow what kings order. remember your in palace not in warfiel. 

Indrajaya: my order is to postpone coronation

Thathwakethu: I want everyone to follow this 

Everybody: sure, my Lord

Scene 3

( Pranakrith and Dristihara are sitting in pranakrith‘s room and chatting) 

Pranakrith :why did father say so? If father continue to be a king the laws and rules will be same. If the laws and rules are same then the condition of shudra‘s will be same. I have to become king as soon as possible to remove varna system and I don't want it to be followed in in my kingdom. Everyone misunderstood me. They all think I am bad ruler and breaks rules of our kingdom. They call me terrrist who breaks our heritage of our kingdom. Is really our heritage is to treat shudra‘s as slaves? what kind of heritage is it? They think I am kid and I don't understand anything but I am 23years old married man. I can understand everything. I didn't say that don't follow our heritage but I am saying follow our heritage which do not decriminate someone. Only sudhras know their pain. Especially my uncles are very much followers of dharma. so, they think following heritage is their darma. that's why they said I am not following dharma because I am not following heritage. 

Dristihara: They all are against you but I'm with you. 

Pranakrith: The sacrifice I have done for them is not enough. I will fight for them till my last breath. This day I am taking oath support shudras till my end of my life

Dristihara: brother I am with you

Pranakrith: love you dristihara. maybe kushmandini is waiting for you. It's better to leave now 

( Drishtihara exit at the same time Hindola enters) 

Hindola: I am happy with your oath arya but you may get injuries.It's not safe for you. If something happens to you then what will I do? 

Pranakrith: Like other women you too felt same but I heard Hindola is warrior princess. you have defeated king of kingdom Amri all by yourself. you should be strong. 

Hindola: you are right arya but I don't have that much courage now 

Pranakrith: you don't have courage because you are 3 months pregnant? 

Hindola: That's not the reason swamy but there's something that I am scared off. that's your uncle, klesha. He is so powerful

Pranakrith: stop thinking about him. He can do nothing on me. Now sleep Hindola

                    they fell asleep

Scene 4

(klesha is meditating when adwena comes panting) 

Klesha:why are you so scared and confused? 

Adwena: I want to say you one important thing. pranakrith have taken oath to be with shudras till end of his life. 

Klesha:is it so? don't be worry. pranakrith will lose his patient very soon . it is possible that pranakrith will stop supporting them. 

klesha: are you ready? 

adwena :for what? 

klesha:we have to divert pranakrith from his goal 

adwena: is it right to divert someone from their goal. 

klesha:no, but a person's goal is harmful to others then it is right to divert. 

adwena: I understand. 

klesha: are you ready? 

adwena: yes, first we have to meet the king and tell him.
