Daring Step Taken In Interview

As far as I remember, it was Feb 2015 when the “Mahindra com viva” company came to recruit students of my college, JEC Jabalpur.

They were offering a fine package at least more good than Infosys, Wipro.

I cracked the written test and then was selected for 2 TI and PI's….

They called my name, I went to the interview room and I was damn ready for it.

Actually, com viva is a communication means a company related to mobile operator and I have a great interest in communication.

There was a man who was recruiting me he started to fire questions and then jumped to projects I decently answered for all his questions… And then I got selected for the further round of TI!!

I went to the cabin and again there was a sir firstly he asked some questions related to my resume then he started to ask for a Bluetooth range how it works, the best mobile operator and a very trendy question related to Vodafone acquire Hutch?

Finally, 2nd interview went awesome and then I started to wait for PI… but didn't get any call…

I was so disappointed, I can't see anything wrong I tried to ignored everything and tried to take my steps back to my hostel, but I couldn't, I just wanted to know the answer to the question “why”?

That was around 5.10pm and they had to leave for their flight after 45min, I told everything to a volunteer over there and I said him to ask them why they rejected me, he said better if you go and ask them…

I did the same, I just wanted to know the answer, for a few minutes everything was black for me, I was trying to get what actually happened how could they do this? To be honest, I think I was the only student from my branch(CSE)who answered for those questions which were not actually from her branch…. And that was a great experience for me…

Finally, I went to the cabin, (recruiter of TI2) I asked Sir, May I know the reason why you declined me for the next round? I gave answers to every question of yours!

After, few min conversation he forwarded my name to next round, my personal interview was also good, but then PI recruiter said, “dear, we are from communications and we would like to hire students from the same sector, I said, “mam, then why you allowed to attend this recruitment for CSE student and just have a look here, my resume is full with communications workshop and awards so why are you saying this all!!

She said, “we are here to hire only 4 and we already took those 4…

I said, not an issue mam, I am not pleading to get this job if I have talent I will get it by anyway someday!!

She talked to me for some minutes more, frankly like you are good and best wishes and all those formality terms.

But, I have learned a lesson that day sometimes you need to face rejections too, it helps you to get some other better place!!
