Mary is a persistent lady.
She has been married to Mark about 30 years now.
Mary is a nurturing lady.
She has soundlessly moved the bookshelf to meet Mark’s eye-line behind his computer. She has also, steadily, opened the blinds in the bedroom, a couple of minutes earlier over the years. Mary plays classical music at home every time Mark is preoccupied and asks him how the plants in the balcony are doing when she is about to serve dinner.

Today, she is grinning at the picture of Mark at sunrise, engrossed in a book and swaying to Mozart while watering the green luscious foliage in their balcony.
