"Family is love so is togetherness but petty issues like money, property, jealousy, sibling rivalry can break the family. It is quite common these days but thanks to social media that has now become a new way to stay united in family bonds and love. "

What if in this World, still, someone does not have a social media account? This was the case with Dr Davis, a 48 years old doctor by profession. He had seen tough times, he had lived with strict parents. Life was mundane until he met her. He had seen her photograph and she was a famous journalist. He knew her face through newspapers. Many a times, he silently prayed for her. He knew she was intelligent like him. He was glad she was his cousin sister but he did not have a facebook account or her number. He searched a lot and one fine day he got her number. It was 9 pm and he was just back from his clinic. He quickly took a bite of food and dialled her number. It rang thrice. Her phone read with a calling identification app, Dr Davis calling. She thought it must be some prospective groom. She had heard about him but she was told his name was Babu. Davis name excited her.

" Hello," She greeted.

" I am Dr Davis..." He responded.

" Yes," She said casually.

" I am in your city and we are connected by blood, sister. Can you guess who I am ?" He asked...

" Babu..." She had a pleasant tone.

Even she had heard of Babu and now a famous surgeon. She always imagined him tall and handsome.

" I wish to meet you." Davis requested.

" I too wish to meet you." She said... Next day they planned to meet at Gateway of India. It was a secret meeting. She did not want her dad to know that she was meeting her cousin. Her dad and his elder brother had parted their ways in the 80's. They had an argument on some property issues and had sworn they will never see each other's face.

She was gazing into the sea and it was Sunny hot. He called her and asked where was she?

" I am facing hotel Taj," She said slowly to him.

" Are you wearing a Green dress." He asked.

" Yes." She replied.

A short man in dark complexion stood in front of her. She could not believe her eyes...

" Dr Davis. Hi..." She greeted and pretended to smile.

They went to Taj and sat in the Lounge. He was treating her with a Green tea. It was of Rs 565 and though a journalist, she was having it for the first time. She belonged to a middle-class family but her makeup and get up made him the sense that she was rich and maybe stayed like huge mansions. They sat casually and discussed a lot of things. They began their conversation like strangers but soon they were comfortable. She had almost told him everything about her life. She had lost her sister and she did not have a sibling to talk. He was reserve but he could yet feel comfortable with her. With a schizophrenic sister, even he was craving for a companion to talk. She was 15 years younger to him but she was charming. He was still old fashioned and she even laughed at him. It was the best day for both of them. They have met after 33 years after their parents fought but they decided to keep their relationship and help each other forever. They parted, yet they were connected on phone calls. She wished to invite him home, but he refused. He looked a bit egoistic and strict but she changed him to a selfie man. They always cherished the best time together. She could not keep it a secret for long. After two years, she invited him on her wedding. He was there wearing a white coat, blessing her and the handsome groom. That day was the best memory for Dr Davis and his cousin sister- Dimple.

Even if the parents part, the new generation don't try to be a milennial. Life is not about gadgets but about relationships. Stay united with family.
