She somehow finished all of her work and glanced at the watch kept at the lower left corner of the table. Oops!! It was 11 P.M. She was so much indulged in the work that she forgot about the timing. She peeped out of the window of her cabin and saw dull street lights and traffic that was slowly vanishing. Her heartbeat got fastened and her mind got stuck with worries.

She checked her phone, "Ohh!!,the battery is about to die", she thought. Freeing her mind from the captivity of those thoughts she took her bag and rushed out of the cabin. The elevator was not working so she went for stairs. Was someone following her? She turned back but there was nothing. After covering the terrifying journey from fifth floor to ground floor she was standing on the edge of Parker street, block number four. It was all dark and covered with dead silence. She started walking and meanwhile she checked her phone,"Sheea!! It's dead", she thought. She was feeling unprotected so she covered her face with a scarf.

She was walking so fast as if she wanted to cover miles in minutes. All of a sudden a fancy car blocked her path and started throwing headlights on her face. She started shivering and her body temperature started falling tremendously. But she gathered all her strength and she turned around and started walking in different direction. "Should I ask for lift? Would it be safe?. Or should I search for taxi", she was thinking.

Finally she managed to get a taxi. "Would it be safe to go in a taxi? Ohh! I haven't checked the taxi number, her mind got covered with such thoughts. Any how she removed clouds of thoughts from her mind and locked herself in the taxi. She reached her place safely. Now, she was not shivering. She was no more frozen or tensed. Yes...she was fine.

Now the question is what was terrifying her. Why she was scared? Why was she tensed when she got late at work? Why she got dejected when she saw dark roads? Why she was unsure about her safety when she hired a taxi? What compelled her to cover her face? Can't she own a world ...okay not a world but at least a piece of land where her mind is "WITHOUT FEAR".
