Banita has got a notification on her phone to participate in the upcoming bike race where she would have to travel around the world and get the 3 flags colored yellow, red, and green.
She loved to win competitions and was very confident that this time also she would only win, she took her bike, packed her bag but she forgot to carry a blanket and also her medicine for acidity.
She reached the spot and she saw people from around the world had come to participate in the competition. She was confident on herself, she saw an old lady who was in her 70's was also a participant, Banita was laughing in her own seeing this.
The competition rules were simple and were to get only the 3 flags.
All participants speeded up their bikes and left,Banita also speeded up and the tour was for 10days,she halted at many places for breakfast,lunch and dinner and the old lady would always be back of her,One day ot was very cold the old lady and Banita coincidentally halted at the same place for dinner and also to take rest,Banita didn't the old lady and ignored her,they sat under a tree to sleep,the temperature suddenly dropped below 10°c and Banita was shivering but she couldn't find her blanket,the lady saw this and offered a spare blanket which was old and fluffy and soft and smelled like ajwain,Banit
a felt cosy but she just wanted to win the race and morning without informing the old lady she left,keeping her blanket upon the lady's bag,Banita and the old lady had already got the red and yellow flag and green flag was the winning point,Banita knew that's he would win and kept moving,they halted at a place for lunch and suddenly Banita fell sick and she couldn't find her acidity medicines,the lady was very kind and she offered her the medicines,Banita was feeling fine and they left again for the race,the point was just 10km far and before that Banita and the old lady decided to have a cup of tea,Banita thanked the lady for being so kind and asked sorry for her ride behaviour,Banita then asked the lady for her reason to participate in the race at such an old age,the lady said,she wanted to win the race and prove her daughter in law that age can never be a bar and with the price money she would rent an apartment to stay separate from them as they never respected her and husband was old and couldn't go for work,Banita was surprised and happy to see the lady's energy,they continued the race and Banita wantedly lost the race,so that the lady would win,the lady knew this and kissed Banita on her forehead and thanked her.
Banita learned that winning is not always important and this was the first-ever race that had lost and she was the happiest.
