Badi Haveli Ka Raaz
Badi Haveli Ka Raaz
Everyone in the village was scared of the Badi Haveli. People said strange things happened there after midnight. Some villagers even said they heard screams from inside. But no one dared to go near it — until Arjun decided he would find out the truth.
One cloudy evening, Arjun packed a flashlight and a stick for safety. He waited until it got dark, then slowly pushed open the rusty gates of the haveli. The air inside felt cold and heavy.
“Nothing to be scared of,” Arjun whispered to himself.
He walked inside. The big doors creaked loudly. The walls were covered in spider webs, and the smell of something rotten filled the air. Arjun moved carefully through the dusty hallways.
Suddenly, he heard footsteps upstairs.
Thump... Thump...
Arjun followed the sound. As he climbed the broken stairs, he noticed faint lights coming from a big room at the end of the hallway. Slowly, he pushed the door open—and froze in shock.
Inside the room, hanging from the ceiling, were bodies swinging gently in the dim light. Arjun's heart pounded so loud he could barely hear anything else.
"What is this place?" he gasped.
In the corner, he found old newspapers and papers scattered around. He quickly grabbed a few and started reading. His hands shook as he understood the truth.
The Badi Haveli was being rented out in the mornings by a group of psycho killers. They pretended to be owners, welcoming people looking for a cheap stay. But at midnight, they would come back—and kill their guests one by one. The bodies were hidden in secret rooms upstairs.
Arjun heard a noise behind him—a door creaking open. He quickly turned off his flashlight and hid behind a broken cupboard. He watched in fear as two men with knives entered the room, laughing quietly.
“Tonight’s work is done,” one of them said, pointing at the hanging bodies.
Arjun's mind raced. He had to escape and tell the villagers the truth. He waited until the men left the room, then ran down the stairs as fast as he could, almost tripping on the broken floor.
The killers heard him and shouted, “Who’s there?!”
Arjun didn’t stop. He sprinted through the gate and down the village road, not looking back. Only when he reached the village square did he finally stop and catch his breath.
The next morning, with the help of the police, the truth about the Badi Haveli was revealed. The killers were caught, and the missing people were finally found.
The villagers thanked Arjun for his bravery. Thanks to him, the real secret of the Badi Haveli was uncovered — it wasn’t haunted by ghosts, but by something much worse: human monsters.
And from that day, no one ever went near the Badi Haveli again.
