EPISODE 1: The Birth of the Cursed One

"Some births are blessings, others are warnings. But his... was a prophecy wrapped in darkness."

A raging storm loomed over the village, the sky crackling with relentless lightning. Inside an ancient temple, flames of oil lamps flickered wildly, casting eerie shadows on the stone walls. A woman lay on the sacred altar, writhing in labor, her screams merging with the rhythmic chants of hooded elders. The air grew thick with incense, yet an unshakable dread clung to the atmosphere.

Then—at exactly 3:33 AM—the child was born. The room fell into absolute silence. No crying, no movement, just an unsettling stillness.

The blind temple priestess stepped forward, her presence commanding. With a trembling hand, she touched the newborn's forehead. Her expression contorted into pure terror. She gasped, her voice barely a whisper—

"This child... is not alone."

The elders stiffened. A sudden, unnatural wind howled through the temple, extinguishing every flame in an instant. Darkness swallowed the room. A heartbeat later, the baby wailed—a sound so deep, so unsettling, that even the storm outside seemed to falter.

The mother, weak but desperate, reached for him. The father, his face lined with disbelief, scoffed. "Enough with your omens! He is my son, nothing more."

The priestess, unmoving, her blind eyes unblinking, whispered—

"Something ancient stirs within him. It is bound... for now."

Years passed, and whispers of doom faded. But inside Arjun, something dark remained. It watched. It waited. And soon... it would awaken.

If Arjun was born as an ordinary child, why did the air around him feel cursed from the very first breath?

Episode 2: The Ritual & The Collapse

"Some doors, once opened, can never be closed. Some souls, once awakened, will never rest."

Opening Scene:

The sun sets behind the hills as the village comes alive with fire torches and rhythmic drumbeats. The air is thick with the scent of burning camphor and fresh marigolds. Arjun, now seven, walks hand in hand with his mother toward the temple courtyard, where hundreds have gathered for the once-in-five-years ritual. The air hums with ancient chants as the villagers bow before the towering deity statues, their faces painted with devotion and fear.

As the priest calls for the sacrificial lamb, a sense of unease settles over Arjun. His hands grow cold, his breathing shallow. The moment the priest raises his blade, a piercing scream escapes Arjun's lips. His body jerks violently, his eyes rolling back into his skull. He collapses onto the temple floor, shaking uncontrollably. Gasps echo through the crowd as his mother rushes to him, cradling him in her arms, tears streaming down her face.

The villagers whisper in hushed, fearful tones. Some call it possession, others call it a bad omen. But one elder, his voice laced with dread, mutters, "It has begun."

At the hospital, Arjun lies still, his body eerily cold. The doctor enters with grim news. "Your son has Dissociative Identity Disorder." His father sighs in relief, clinging to science. But his mother knows the truth. The whispers in the shadows have only just begun.

Is this truly a medical condition, or has something far more sinister begun to take control?

Episode 3: Sealing the Darkness

You can bury the darkness, you can lock it away... but one day, it will return to claim what is rightfully its own."

A full moon casts an eerie glow over the village temple, its stone pillars bathed in an unnatural stillness. The village elders gather in secrecy, their faces etched with fear and urgency. The ancient priestess, her once-commanding presence now frail yet formidable, leans forward, her blind eyes fixed on the trembling flame before her.

"This boy is not ill," she rasps. "He is a vessel. And if we do not act now, the consequences will be unimaginable."

Murmurs ripple through the room. The decision is made. A forbidden ritual—one not performed in centuries—must be invoked.

The Ritual Begins:

Inside a hidden chamber beneath the temple, Arjun's unconscious body is placed in the center of a sacred mandala, drawn with turmeric, ash, and blood. The elders chant incantations older than memory itself, their voices rising and falling in a haunting rhythm. A bowl of oil ignites on its own, sending shadows dancing across the walls.

As the priestess places a trembling hand on Arjun's forehead, he convulses violently. A deep, guttural growl escapes his lips—a sound too ancient, too inhuman to belong to a child. The air thickens, as if something unseen is resisting, fighting.

With a final, desperate mantra, the entity is sealed. The temple trembles, the candle flames flicker... and then, silence.

The Morning After:

Arjun wakes, his head pounding, memories foggy. His mother smiles weakly, hiding her terror. His father tells him it was nothing—just a seizure. He believes them.

But in the depths of his soul, something lingers. Something waits.

Did the ritual truly seal the entity... or did it merely give it time to grow stronger?

Episode 4: The First Omen – Diwali on Amavasya

"Darkness does not arrive with thunder—it comes in whispers, unnoticed, until it's already inside you."

Diwali night. The village glows under countless oil lamps and bursting fireworks. Laughter and cheer fill the air as children run through the streets, their faces lit with excitement. Among them is 11-year-old Arjun, holding a pack of firecrackers with eager hands.

For the first time, he feels normal. Just another boy celebrating a festival.

His best friend cheers him on as he kneels to light a flower pot cracker (anar). The matchstick flickers, touches the fuse... but nothing happens.

Frowning, he tries again. The fuse remains unlit.

A strange chill creeps up his spine. The warmth of Diwali suddenly feels distant. The air stills. Then—

Flicker.

Every streetlight, every diya, every source of light vanishes in an instant. The world is swallowed in darkness. Gasps echo through the streets.

And then, a voice—deep, distant, inside him.

"Bhairaa..."

Arjun's breath turns shallow. His hands tremble. He whips around, eyes darting across the blackened street.

"Who's there?!" he shouts, his voice barely a whisper against the suffocating silence.

Nothing.

Then, another whisper—this time, closer.

"You will know soon... I am inside you."

The streetlights flare back on. The world returns to normal. But before Arjun can even process what happened—

BOOM!

The cracker in his hand erupts violently, flames licking his skin. His scream pierces the night. His best friend rushes to him, but something inside Arjun shifts. Pain twists into rage. Hatred. He clenches his burned hand, staring at the sky, and mutters a single, bitter sentence:

"There is no God."

That night, something deep within Arjun stirs. Unseen, unheard—but awake.

The seal has begun to crack.

Was the voice a hallucination... or was something calling out to Arjun from within?

Episode 5: A Light in the Darkness

"Sometimes, the brightest light appears in our darkest moments... but even light casts a shadow."

The school bell rings, signaling the start of another day—another battle for Arjun.

His bandaged hand is a constant reminder of Diwali night, but instead of sympathy, he's met with cruelty.

"Burnt Hand!"

"Cursed Boy!"

"Stay away from him!"

Mocking whispers follow him down the hallways. His classmates avoid him like a disease, their laughter sharp as knives. Teachers turn a blind eye. Even those who once spoke to him now keep their distance.

Alone.

Lunch break arrives, and Arjun sits in the farthest corner of the schoolyard, his untouched tiffin beside him. His fingers dig into the soil, frustration bubbling beneath his skin. The voice... the explosion... was it all his fault?

Then, a shadow falls over him.

He looks up.

A girl—fearless eyes, an air of quiet confidence—lowers herself beside him. She doesn't speak. Doesn't hesitate. Just sits.

Arjun stares, expecting her to leave. She doesn't.

The next day, she sits beside him again. And again.

When others mock him, she speaks up. "Say it again, and I'll break your teeth."

For the first time in years, someone stands by his side.

Days turn into weeks. Their bond deepens. She meets his family, slowly weaving herself into his world.

Arjun dares to believe... maybe he isn't alone anymore.

But Bhairaa lurks beneath the surface, waiting.

And fate is already choosing its next victim.

Has Arjun truly found a friend, or is she unknowingly stepping into a darkness she cannot escape?

Episode 6: Love at First Sight

"Some love stories begin with a heartbeat. Others begin with a curse."

A dark, feverish haze. Sweat-soaked sheets. Arjun drifts between nightmares and consciousness. Shadows flicker in his room, but it's not the fever that chills him—it's the voice.

"You are mine, Arjun... You always were."

The whisper slithers into his ears. His body stiffens. Then—silence. The fever vanishes overnight.

Two weeks later, he returns to school, feeling strangely... lighter. As if something inside him has shifted.

Classroom Scene:

The moment he steps in, something feels off. The air is charged. Different.

Then he sees her.

A new girl. Sitting beside his best friend.

For the first time in his life, the world slows down. The noise of the classroom fades into a muffled hum. His heartbeat pounds in his ears.

A soft breeze flutters through the room, even though the windows are shut. The lights flicker ever so slightly.

Arjun has no words—only a feeling. A pull. As if something beyond his control is binding them together.

She looks up. Their eyes meet.

And in that instant, Arjun knows.

This is destiny.

His best friend introduces them, but he barely registers the words. He's lost in the way she tucks a loose strand of hair behind her ear, the way she smiles politely but distantly.

But somewhere in the depths of his soul, Bhairaa stirs.

Love at first sight. But fate never lets love bloom so easily.

Is Arjun's connection with her real, or is fate playing a dangerous game?

Episode 7: A Deal with Friendship

"Some deals cost more than you can ever imagine. Some awaken something that should never be disturbed."

A crowded school corridor. Students laugh, chatter, and rush past. But Arjun sees only her.

His best friend notices immediately. She pulls him aside, arms crossed.

"You like her, don't you?"

Arjun hesitates. Then nods.

"Set me up with her," he pleads.

She sighs, shaking her head. "She's not interested in love."

But Arjun is desperate. He'll do anything.

She narrows her eyes. "Fine. On one condition."

He listens intently.

"You must always talk to me. You can't ignore me for her. You have to tell me everything about your relationship. And... you cannot cross any limits with her."

Without thinking, Arjun agrees. He doesn't realize he's making a deal that will cost him more than he ever imagined.

The Fall of a Friendship:

Slowly, the connection between Arjun and his best friend begins to fade. Lunch breaks become about her, not them. Inside jokes disappear. Late-night calls are no longer with his best friend but with his girlfriend.

Then one day, his best friend looks him in the eyes and says the words that will haunt him forever:

"One day, your girlfriend will leave you. And when that day comes, you will come back for me... but I won't be there anymore."

The Awakening:

That evening, Arjun meets his girlfriend near the school's deserted water filter. The sky is grey, light rain drizzling. The moment is perfect.

His first kiss is about to happen.

He leans in. Wraps his arms around her. Closes his eyes.

Then—suddenly—his grip tightens.

His breath turns heavy. His body shudders. His muscles tense unnaturally.

His girlfriend's eyes widen in terror.

"Arjun...?"

But this isn't Arjun anymore.

A voice, deep and ancient, emerges from his throat—chilling, powerful, echoing through the empty corridor.

"तस्य केवलं आरम्भः एव"

("This is only the beginning.")

Then comes the laughter. Cold. Inhuman. Endless.

His girlfriend stumbles back, screaming. She runs. She doesn't look back.

For the first time in 13 years—Bhairaa has spoken.

And now, he's awake.

Now that Bhairaa is awake, will Arjun ever be the same again?
