An Open Letter To Dear Men

Dear Men, 

Not only Women but your tribe is stereotyped too. We call you names, "Patriarchs", "male gaze society", "male chauvinist", "manist" and a lot more. To be honest, that is to some extent, our fault too. We don't call a person as such, but a whole race. Despite whatever is happening in society, abuse, rapes, acid attacks, bullying, not all men are abusers or attackers. If only it was like that, the women population would probably have been extinct till now. Its because, gentlemen are there, a balance is there and we are there.

We, daughters, are generally more inclined to our fathers, he is the only gentleman in our lives. Fortunately we meet some other men who are good to us, that one cousin who stands next to you in a crowded place, that teacher who was awake with you during your exams, that stranger who dropped you home late at night, that man who proved to be your best friend, that knight in the shining armour who changed your life forever, that little boy who made you realize motherhood.

But unfortunately, we meet certain fellows who ruin our perception of men being good. They say, one rotten fish can pollute the whole pond, quite true. One such incident, makes us say "All men are the same". But no, All men aren't the same. This tribe is equally vulnerable to the issues without even being addressed. They make ends meet, they work all life, they stand as protections, just because we can lead a happy life. Kudos to all the men. Happy International Men's Day.
