Alone in Dark

It was all new town all neighbourhood was new and the place seems to be new and a little bit scary as it was far for the main town and seems like the people were hiding some sort of story in their heart. I shifted there in a house that seems to be empty for a long time and my neighbour told me that it was a scary place to live in. But the story I heard from them was scary but who care for that story cause I never believe in that kind of ghost thing.

I moved along with my girlfriend; we weren't married to each other as we were doing Ph.D. in geography in a nearby college. We were along since high school it was about 5 years since we were living together and as we were never been into a scary town like this. Well, totally we can't call it a town cause the population was minimum as it was not crowded and the town seems to be like and the people of that place were minding their own business. It was good for us as there was no interference with each other. The house we shifted in was blown by the dust and it took us a three days to get it totally done and we were totally exhausted.

As the flight was long the route was a little bit far from the college as after some days the place doesn't seem to be scary at all. It was weekend and we decided to go out for dinner and we asked some people nearby to recommend a nice place where we can hop in together and enjoy our romantic night together. It was a long time since we were going out for dinner together cause we were so busy in our studies we can barely spare some special moments for us. And we were planning this special time for a while and after some recommendation in hop in this beautiful restaurant which was nicely decorated. I it was all quiet only few peoples were there and one of the couples nearby table.

It was our next door neighbor; we talked with each other and they were telling all the dark stories behind which was deep-buried inside their heart for a long time. They told that before us they was a family who were living at the place in which we were shifted. They told that the whole family was brutally murdered in a single night by their father with a shovel. We were totally shocked after what we heard from them and it been a decade since no one hoped there. After the discussion we were at the home and we were discussing the same issues we were talking in the restaurant and it made me think why the property was sold by the dealer in half the price; may be due to this incident no one had agreed to buy that property
