A Wonderful Autumn

Kim had always been fascinated by the forest that lay beyond her backyard. It was a place of mystery and adventure, filled with towering trees, hidden streams, and the songs of countless birds. Every day after school, she would stand at the edge of her yard, peering into the dense foliage, dreaming of the adventures she might have.
