Nishant Raichand is the son of the landlord of the village of Gahmar in Uttar Pradesh. It is the largest village in the state. Being the son of a rich man, he was naturally pampered from the beginning. He was called chhote babu in the village.

By the time he was 12 years old, he became very mischievous and naughty. He fell into bad company and into bad ways. He started disrespecting elders and started disobeying his parents. He even fought with his elder sister who is two years older, over trifle matters.

Manas Raichand, his father is a respected person in the village. He is the opposite of what most people would think of a rich landlord of UP to be. He is probably the most honest and generous person in the whole village. His father and Nishant 's grandfather was also very learned and wise person. Now that Manas ji (as he was called) saw that his own son is in bad company, he lost his sleep. He started to think of various ways to transform his son from a villain to a hero.

His old oppo (friend) Bikram gave him a suggestion. He finally decided to send Nishant to BGIS or Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School in Vrindavan, Mathura district. The foundation stone of this boarding school was laid down by the Founder Acharya of International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), Swami Srila Prabhupada ji.

He took his son to the school. There he met the principal, CA Sonu Gupta ji who is a chartered accountant and has mentored more than 15000 CAs. She has been serving in ISKCON since 2001.

She said that this present campus of 100 acres is a new one and meets all the necessary requirements for a child's growth. It is located near the village of Ajhai, Mathura. It is located in the lap of nature. There are Robotics and Tinkering Labs, computer lab, medical facilities 24×7, sky gazing facility, library with audio visual labs, well equipped physics and chemistry labs, residential ashrams, goshala, healthy peasadam, swimming pools, basketball, table tennis, volleyball, football etc, digital classrooms etc.

Manas ji was highly impressed and put his son in the school. Now after one year he is seeing a great change in him. Now Nishant has started respecting elders. He does not fight with his sister any more. He obeys his parents.

Now Nishant is at home for shut down of school due to corona, but does his online classes regularly. Next month he plans to again go to BGIS when the school reopens. And his father, Manas ji is happy that his son is no more a villain!
