A Stroke That Liberates

A lot of people would consider an act such as this to be “complicated and nerve-wracking”. Well, in the beginning, even I thought so. But I soon realised that all it took was for one to be calm, composed and convicted. The start, nonetheless, is complicated. It takes time to find the right spot and precisely insert the blade into the tender skin, but when you do, the smoothness of the cut that follows across the length of the skin, the feeling of the warm blood dripping down your hands, it is just unmatched.

A simple stroke, that liberates my soul. I never feel more alive than when others cease to in front of me.
