A million dreams

There lived a family in the countryside of a very busy city (Mumbai). It consists of two teenage boys named Mohammad and Ahmed who are very affectionate to their sister. Their mother named Fathima who is a religious person and father named Shehzad who is a friend and also a traditional person . The story is based on a thirteen years old girl named Ameera who is a respectful and a soft spoken girl, who has a dream of becoming a journalist. Her dream of becoming a journalist arrised in her heart when she was hearing about a news report at her age of 10. The news report stated that a young female journalist named Mina Khairi died in Afghanistan due to a explosion caused by Taliban. Fron that her aim was to become a successful female journalist. She even used to get angry while hearing Taliban's speech against women and also news report's that states about the female slavery in Afghanistan caused by the Taliban's. She even used to discuss it with her family members but both her parents used to oppose her Ideas frequently because they wanted her to led a traditional and secure lifestyle. They insisted her stop dreaming about this and wanted her to learn about religious practices. Even her friends didn't support her on her passion of becoming a journalist. Her only support was her teacher and both her brother's. Though her teacher was a religious person she always used to say helping others is the first priority According to all religions.

This sentence motivated her passion in becoming a successful journalist. After completing her school, she wanted to study abroad about journalism. But as usual her both the parents opposed her ideas and rather wanted her to be a traditional and a religious person. But her teacher tried to convince her parents but it didn't seem to work out. So, she finally out of desperation shouted at her parents. They both were shocked on seeing this because Ameera is a person who never speaks harshly to anyone and is an obedient and respectful daughter. Their parents instead of becoming angry they accepted it with a heavy heart. They accepted it because they saw the desperation in her eyes to succeed. After the acceptance from her parents, she started to prepare for her entrance examination and she eventually got passed her examination.

The next day, she was leaving her native place to stay in the hostel for her graduation. All her family members accompanied her to the railway station. Though both the parents didn't speak a word, Ameera saw the sadness in her parents' eyes. At the time of graduation both her parents used to speak with her without any hesitation. After graduation, she went across several countries reporting all the problems in the specific country. Her parents though they are traditional and religious, they felt proud of her all the time.
