A life without a social network is nowadays impossible. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube have become the main source for a human being. All these thoughts were coming to a young girl who was about 8 years old, her name was Dakshayani. Although nobody was into social networks in her family, these thoughts often used to come to her mind. It seems as if there is nothing without social networks. Why?

It even played an important role, in life for even elder citizens. Ofcourse all these problems came from a very small thing. A PHONE! Only that little thing took over our entire life. Dakshayini was thinking about all this while she was travelling on her school bus that morning. Her thoughts were racing faster than ever that morning so let's catch up with it before she leaves us behind!

At that moment she saw her bus driver distracted on his phone, watching a YouTube video. It just didn't occur to her that she should have told her driver to stop watching YouTube, instead, she raced back into her thoughts. In places like lounges, hospitals, temples, hotels almost everywhere people have lost the patience to wait or observerve things around them instead they'd always be on their phones or other electronics, but mostly, phones. This list includes kids. The phone took a major role with children. Why can this not be stopped? Especially when you know it's not good for you.

Dakshayini was a very mature kid who was not addicted to any gadgets, because of their causes. She thought about her baby cousin who was only about 2 years old but had glasses due to her addiction to phones. This cousin of hers was always watching YouTube and that was the cause for her having glasses. It happened as if phones were life to people and without it they would be helpless. Without phones, life has many advantages and few disadvantages but with phones, we have many disadvantages and a few advantages. A phone is used for its proper use in a minimum percentage. It is used for its other uses which are of no use and are addictive.

That was when she thought of her own parents who had explained and made her understand the importance of not getting addicted to social media and electronics as the others were...  Bang! Crash!

Her bus driver let the bus go in a wrong direction and let it into a tree. Dakshayini was in the first row and so was badly hurt by the glass pieces. This accident had occurred because the bus driver had been distracted in his phone watching funny videos on YouTube. The driver was also hurt badly and was unconscious, half of the children were hurt. Dakshayini had the biggest of wounds but was still conscious, that was when she realized her mistake of not telling her driver to not see his phone while driving. It had caused the biggest accident, for at least 20 of them were badly injured.

These are the times in which we may have the thought that seeing our phones for a few seconds may have no harm, but accidents like these make us understand the true value of a life. Making sure that we are not the cause of the death of another life and that too due to our selfishness lies in our hands...
