Namaste. It gives immense pleasure and a feeling of pride in talking to you today about me. I had been neglected for long by many sections of the society. But today, every section – be it be the poor, the middle or the rich section of the society and every society wants me. More or less everyone knows about me now and I am being recommended in fact. Oh! How blessed I feel in today’s times. Yes, I am The Sanitizer.

Imagine yourself in a situation where you are trying to help and take care of others but you are being disliked. How disheartening it has been to me. I was highly disliked mainly for the odour of mine, for the fact that I consisted of alcohol and because I was believed to take away the softness of your hands. Because of so many “reasons” those who believed in my usage were also taken as hygiene obsessed and stupid. Such people and I were mocked at. I was completely illogical to a large mass of people.

The present pandemic has changed my life like many other things in the entire world. However I existed, despite all the disliking, mockery and the heart breaking treatment by many and many (thanks to those who believed in my strength). The present situation has made me undergo many changes. In addition to my original version, I now come in various others also like ayurvedic, homeopathic, home-made, fragrant, etc. I have made the world realise once again that somethings like alcohol can also be beneficial if used wisely. Alcohol is definitely dangerous and life taker when consumed as liquor but can contribute to saving lives as a Sanitizer.

I must also tell you how dear I felt when some money maker vultures of the human society started black marketing me. I realised my importance in your life. I became more committed to continue to be your friend in this war against a deadly enemy, the Corona Virus.

Bringing my letter to an end for now, I request and urge you to help me to help you in this fight. Take me as a friend and I promise to give my best to keep those bacteria and virus like creatures away from you and your loved ones. Use me as per the guidelines along with my friends – the mask, the gloves Carry me with you every time everywhere as I am handy too, even if you think you are safe somewhere. Let me always accompany you from now on to contribute in safeguarding you and your loved ones and every one like a true friend does. Namaste.
