A Conditional World

What are we looking for?

But, for a trifle measure of peace.

For, the world is a selfish place,

They would use you when they want

And then smite you in the face.

Clauses and conditions,

Are bound to elation.

Unconditional is buried in the pages,

Conditional, is the new relation.

For, when the time came to wipe a tear. I was with my conscience and nobody near. I held out my hand and just felt the breeze. Disappointed I returned home, with a collar full of tears. 

Days passed by and I kept doing my part. That's when I learned, how to pacify a broken heart. I guess! that's where I went wrong.

While they discovered reasons to blame, I searched for reasons to forgive.....
