You're Pretty
You're Pretty
She knew that she couldn't be someone they want,
Either she could be beautiful with flawless skin and curves,
Or she could be pretty with the marks on her skin,
Almost at every step everyone made her feel ugly,
And she started doubting herself for no reason,
She was intelligent, she was funny,
She was kind, she was helpful,
She was a total package of all the emotions,
But her self confident gradually started touching the ground,
There's always self doubt's voice ringing in her head,
Whenever she undresses herself in the shower,
The marks makes her feel low,
She always asked herself why out of all me?,
Then at a point she learnt from the few,
Everyone has been made with some or the other flaws,
Engulf every problem with a smile,
You're beautiful the way you are,
No marks can define you, fatness can't portray you weak,
Comments can't judge you,
Orthodox, Oh! forget them,
No blood stain can certify your character,
And no one has the right to prove you're not worthy,
You're pretty,
Yes the girl who you see daily in the mirror,
Yes she is pretty,
Yes you're pretty.
