Writer's Block

Writer's Block

1 min
199

I sat blankly staring at the computer screen;

Wanting to write I pressed my fingers over the keyboard.

The first letter "A" appeared on screen,

I tried to press the next but my eyes stared at that "A",

And hand remained frozen waiting to press the next.

The fan in the ceiling moving, trying hard to keep me cool.

My cellphone lying next to me on the table,

Urging me to open the Facebook for once.

My mom in the kitchen is cooking Rajma Chawal,

Oh! the smell!!

Next to my computer lies my diary and my pen.

Why? what has happened to me?

I can smell, hear and see.

But I cannot imagine.

Is this what people call "writer's block"?
