Wounds that last forever
Wounds that last forever
Debate with myself in the mind.
Dear time, will you be kind
And help me to exhale the past
That relied on weak trust?
They say "It will take time"
To recover from the punishment of the uncommitted crime.
Happy Hours are short,
But indefinite period of time is where bad days resort.
Putting up a smile for the world,
With time I tried myself to get mould.
"Some wounds take longer time" they say,
Will it last to winter or next May?
Harder is when your eyes lack in tears
And to express your emotion the heart fears.
The Invisible walls of my cell
Suffocates me well,
But will I again open the door
And give a chance more
While the last slamming of the door
On my eardrums, keep to roar?
They say "You will be all fine"
But hesitate to help me for a second shine
Well wishers only wish
Real ones do well for you, remember this
Death is cruel, disappearance is crueler,
Deal with everything else you are a failure.
All wounds are not meant for medicine
Let them be the way and keep them unseen.
Because some wounds donot heal,
Some wounds last forever, I feel.
