When you are not there

With me

I am not sad

Nor heartbroken

I am lost

And a little confused

I don't feel anger

Nor do I feel animosity

I feel empty

And mostly desperate

Desperate to find

What I have lost

Because that hole in my chest

Prevents me from

Moving forward
