Hidden Place
Hidden Place
They say there's a hidden place
Somewhere far away
Where the rivers are deeper
And the mountains are higher
One ought to be careful
Two extremes like that
Create rollercoasters
In the heart and in the mind
You can climb so high
Just to fall in the depth
Drown and be swallowed
By the Earth
Or you can swim
As long as you want
Fill yourself with the energy
To run up the endless hills
You won't stay at the top very long
Rides always go rushing down
When you least expect it
Therein lies the danger
The reckless ones don't come back
From the hidden place
The water keeps them eternally
Depth winning over height
There's a lesson to be learned
Don't let yourself go too high
You'll fall into a river of sadness
And you'll never be the same.
