Wish

Tunes of harmony ...

become recurring motifs of life

inundate vistas of incongruity

greater sense sinks in

and we exult in hand holding and camaraderie

to lead a serene blessed life

Hope

The ordeal ends only soon or very soon

the grim situation no longer keeps us captive

resources do not deplete

nor people die in harness

mankind breathes respite

Pray

Nature forgives us for all our wrongdoings

we accord its due by saying 'no' to

felling of trees

we opt for a need based life

be away even from the shadow of greed

Only then, we can atone for mistakes

and redeem mankind.
