WINTER MISERY

  The foliage of leaves ceased

withered, shrivelled, tarnish into

pale yellow hue.

 wind has sharpness of cold

feel of warmth reduced

there is greed for sunshine.

   

Gorgeous public look

carved in mufflers, caps

long and short coats and jackets 

carts load of popcorn, peanuts and 

varient kinds of chikies 

green leafy veggies and reddish

carrots in abundant.

  

 Street hounds hunting for safe stay

quivering nights, bonfire, considerable relief 

the poor and hounds in identical space

adoring and embracing 

   

My gaze turned above

if I could bring down

the full moon

and divide among them .
