Why Being Happy Becomes So Difficult

Why being happy becomes so difficult, after we become adults. 

Even after, enduring all the insults, waiting for the results, 

Brooking with a state of fear and tumult. 

Why being happy becomes so difficult. 

Leaving everything behind, family, friends and close-ones, 

Walking out from everything that at all times was fun

Even after venturing the long run, Why, am I,

Not getting the answers to all questions proposed by the heart

 Persistently, standing with my passions and performing all the required actions,

Keeping at arm's length from all the distractions, I still don't comprehend, 

Why being happy becomes so difficult. 

Today, after touching the highest point of the sky, 

Feeling so cheery, that I'm standing hereby.

 But seeing all the people nearby, consistently making me feel, 

Like, I've never tried. Making me feel like I'm a passer-by.

After, some time, happiness becomes so hyped up 

 That it becomes more expensive than a glass cup.

Now, I understood, 

Why being happy becomes so difficult.
