Who Would I be ?

Who would I be, if my ancestors had never been enslaved?

Who would I be, if all the promises and resolution's had been kept? If the Constitution was adhered To and the declarations had lived. ...Who would I be?

Who would I be,..... if my culture was intact ? If the rich history of my ancestors had been Encouraged by the colonist rather than enacting cultural genocide. .....who would I be?

Who would I be......, if the best educational routes were never blocked, and access to the best Education had been offered?

Would I be living the African dream? Would my ancestors have come anyway, on transatlantic boats Of steam?

Is my fate locked...did it matter that my entire bloodline, culture, spirituality and esteem was taken?

Seriously, WHO WOULD I BE?.....a lawyer, a doctor, a scientist, a crook, a policymaker...? I suppose I will never know because I was never given an option. ......so,
