Who is an Artist?
An Artist is someone,
Who is lost in imagination,
Who is submerged in his/her thoughts,
Who lives in the fantasy world,
Who prefers solitude,
Who does not abide by rules and laws,
Who spills his/her soul to create art,
Who is close to the mighty force of nature,
Who follows his/her intuition,
Who is aware of subtle changes in his/her creation,
Who nurtures art like his/her baby
And finally, present to the world his whole-hearted creation...
During this whole process, he/she is "An Artist."
Once the creation, be it: Music, Poetry, Story, Dance, Drama, Painting, Sculpture, Song etc.
Is unwrapped, uncloaked, displayed for public consumption, opinions, comments, compliments, applause, approval and appreciation...
Then the Creator or An Artist is nothing but a "Beggar with a Bowl".
