Western Civilisation

Overwhelmed by the glamour and glory

Hypnotized by its power

Being drawn continuously to the west

Ignoring the spiritual path

Temptation of money is enslaving us

Diseases never dreamt of are straining us

This so called civilisation takes note neither of morality nor of religion

Enabling a few to gain a great deal of wealth

While worsening the condition of all the rest

This dehumanization that industrialisation produced

Is a condition to be tackled in this high time.
