Western Civilisation

Overwhelmed by the glamour and glory

Hypnotized by its power

Being drawn continuously to the west

Ignoring the spiritual path .

Temptation of money is enslaving us

Diseases never dreamt of are straining us

This so-called civilization takes note

Neither of morality nor of religion.

Enabling a few to gain a great deal of wealth

While worsening the condition of all the rest

This dehumanization that industrialisation produced

Is a condition to be tackled in this high time.
