I am the well where water is always rising and rising

Of memories forgotten in minds, slowly closing.

 

Lives of the elapsed exist in my waters.

Pain is here, along with sorrow too.

The happy memories are fading, seeming untrue.

 

Ripples spread out, from the stones you’ve dropped

Of ancient reminiscence, you were incapable of.

 

Deeds through ages go uncounted for,
