WE ARE THE INDIANS or WE ARE THE INDIA?

The patriotic day has come,

To make us feel our independence,

And to show our transcendence.

Today we gather our hearts,

For the grace in past, we showed,

The trees of autarky we sowed.

The tears of happiness,

Dropping from our eyes,

For, in the past,

We had a spectacular rise.

A day we will never forget,

A day Britishers will regret,

A day making Indians abet.

This is my patriotic India,

I will never leave behind

An India that has a marvellous

Rewind.

With that, I sign off,

HUM SABH ALAG HAI AISA KABHI NA
