I don't know who opened the gate,

When one or the other could wait.

I don't know whose heart frozen to ice,

And were no tears left to wipe.

I don't know where all the warmth disappeared,

Forgotten all the moments they shared.

I don't know why no one even tried to bind,

But love was not that simple and kind.

I don't know how they will be cured,

Will time will help or simply will be lured.
