When I saw him on the seashore

Blushing like a young boy of fifteen

And catching small colorful fish

Carelessly looking at the waves

Was he married?

To the burdens of family

And sufferings of loved ones

Fulfilling the responsibilities

Loving in the same human way

Was he married?

When I lost my heart to him

Suddenly breathing heavily

For his ignorant look

Loosing my feelings to the stranger

Was he married?

When he left me

Unknown, untouched

Unattended on the seashore

Still swimming with the fish..
