Waiting For Your Return

Waiting For Your Return

2 mins 14K 2 mins 14K

Half-heartedly I bid farewell,

To the moments of togetherness,

My lips could never tell.

These days are like petals of flower,

Which it holds with all power,

Yet they shed with season,

So are relationships broken,

At times without reason.

Yet for your future so bright,

And showers of happiness into your life,

I part with you in the hope,

All the loneliness you could cope,

And still in the pain I burn,

Just waiting for your return.

An angel with eyes of innocence,

The isolation in heart, one could never sense,

Lovely smile like a balm,

To free you from pains and make you calm.

A soul so pure,a reflection so holy,

Such a self- collected person,

One could never tally.

A monsoon after drought, a wish fulfilled,

To uncover the emotions, that had been sealed.

And today you set us free,

As if God has stolen a part of me.

Wishing if this moment becomes stun,

Desperately waiting for your return.

Silence has crept into my heart,

When I recall the day we part,

The eyes are motionless, the breeze so silent,

Concentration is less and lost all talent,

All my efforts are lost in vain,

No movement but still in strain,

Even silence troubles me with sound,

Joy and jovial had I renounced.

My heart speaks one thing, my soul tells so,

There's a person, I can't let go,

Still I hope when I have a turn,

Just waiting for your return.

Maybe you would never come back,

The days that past, my life may lack,

But still if God listens to my prays,

He could make me amazed,

By sending back,

The image my mind always traced,

That day my tears will fly,

And I would have relief,

But still there's one belief,

Maybe you would scream and run,

" No more waiting for my return."

" No more waiting for my return."
