Utmost Peace
Utmost Peace
Nocturnal becomes
My soul,
My bare body lies
Indolently on the bed.
Such is the power of will
That breaking god-given
Relationship with the body,
Soul saunters
Near your boudoir.
Hoping you would
Come to the balcony
And it would witness
Your beatific smile
To draw peace,
It waits till morning.
As the sun winks in the morning
And you come
To freshen the laziness
Of your body,
It returns and fits into my body
With utmost peace.
