Uplifting The Shadow

Have been dancing to random songs,

The sad ones brought me tears,

The happy ones made me laugh, 

This year was heart-wrecking but eye-opening to my rear.

Every friend I trusted made me rethink,

Of my decision of ultimate connections,

But then you need to choose wisely,

Was the only answer I heard.

So, it's been difficult, 

But the revelation of years agony,

Brought happiness of knowing I deserve better.

So I am aware now,

Step toward self-improvement,

If my only vision for the upcoming movement.
