Untrodden Path
Untrodden Path
In all the years of my travelling,
The journey down the untrodden path gave me bountiful years of life
I came back home wiser
I returned so much stronger
I began yearning for more, shortly after each journey.
When I set out to discover beyond the obvious,
Many a time I don't like the uncertainty
I hate it but I want to give up
I become my own cheerleader too sometimes
Yet, deep within, I know there is a promise in each such journey
Whatever I pick along is priceless - a stone, a rose or a trick
They serve me a lifetime.
