Unkind World

In a world unkind, where tears fall like rain,

A story of bullying, a cause of great pain.

In shadows it hides, like a relentless tide,

Leaving scars on hearts, where innocence once thrived.

Why do they judge, and tear others apart?

Why do they belittle, and break fragile hearts?

Why do they gather, like wolves in their pack,

Preying on the weak, with cruel words that attack?

Fade, oh sweet happiness, vanish in despair,

As nightmares replace the dreams they used to bear.

Yet through the torment, hope flickers delicate,

For kindness, like a beacon, never knows its fate.

The teacher, the officer, the principal in sight,

They hold power to protect, to make the wrong right.

Yet sometimes they hide, turning a blind eye,

Ignoring the fear that's reflected in each cry.

Why, oh why, does dinner protect the rich?

Why do the small people never find their pitch?

In a world where money speaks louder than grace,

Where the powerful prevail, while the innocent erase.

But hold on, dear heart, for all is not lost,

There are those who listen, who'll stand at any cost.

Prayers rise to the heavens, seeking solace above,

For God knows the pain, and answers with love.

Let us unite, dear reader, let our voices be heard,

Spreading empathy and kindness, like the song of a bird.

For in togetherness, strength we shall find,

Creating a world where bullying is left far behind.
