Unbreakables

The glasses trembled with mortal fears,

And drenched themselves with scalding tears.

Painful nightmares overlapped the sun,

And darkest clouds covered the horizon.

With ultimate faith, they prayed to the Almighty,

Finally, did God feel some pity?

Then He waved his magical wand,

And birds started singing, as if in a band.

Angels made the tears evaporate,

And made the glasses stand up straight.

They filled their hearts with confidence,

And taught all the lessons of self-defense.

"Enough of waiting for a miracle to come,

To take you away from the filthy dungeon.

Enough of tears, enough of self-pity,

Leave the future to the Almighty."

"Bury the past in the deepest graves,

Make the baggage disappear with the waves.

Face the world on your own,

Watch it dazzling with the rays of the sun.

Allow your locks to play with the gale,

And appreciate His creation with a gentle smile."

The breaking forces searched for some cleft,

But were shocked to find, there was no more left.

The hammer became a broken wreck,

When the glasses simply refused to break.
