Two Sides Of The Coin

Life is playing dodge ball with me,

All the "Ifs" haunting & taunting me.

At most life can hurt badly,

Sometimes making me feel sinful & guilty.

But I assure myself for the hundredth time,

That those moments are grey & tricky,

Were the dark nights I had to face,

Once & for all and not for eternity.

Just as I enjoyed the DAWN of life,

So too I shall enjoy the TWILIGHT!

Because following every night,

There is certain dawn ........

And after every big storm,

There prevails a soothing calm ........

And after every bitter sorrow,

There will be a sweet taste of happiness .........

As long as we live,

It is better to let hurt fade away,

So as to live life like a song,

Ever and forever to sing all along!
