Ten years ago,

Tonight was the night.

When I met you,

You cast a magic upon me.

Your eyes were locked in mine,

When you said that I was the one.

When you touched me for the first time

With your warm love

I felt something electrical on my veins

It was like I was hallucinated.

I became blind with love

And you acted like a stick.

You poured love in my heart

And made that stone soft.

Never did I think

That this beast was capable of love

But you,

You proved everything I believed in the wrong.

You destroyed my whole belief system

And showed me that love always does not hurry away.

You made me believe

That the light from afar is real

That time and distance are not what they seem to be

That everyone has magic inside them.

You proved me

That our magic was meant for one another.

Like a leper believes in it's God.

Tonight was the night

When an angel entered my life.

The only thing I have left of you

The only thing I'll person forever.

The angel,

Who looks at me as her hero

Who fills my life with her laughter

Who holds my finger with her small hand.

I remember the first time I had met the angel

I was astonished to see her

For I've never seen you smile so beautifully.

Now, I understand

That my magic was meant for that angel

And not you.
