When I'm asleep at night

Having a beautiful dream,

It tiptoes in

And haunts me.

Startled, I wake up

With horrors flashed upon my eyes,

Seat starts running down my forehead

And my heart pounds out.

I am scared of it

I fear how it will torment me forever

I fear that it will tear me apart

I fear that it has clung to me like a leach.

It hunts me down every time

It makes me fall apart

It makes me want scream in silence

It makes me wanna end my life.

The bitter truth is that it will never stop

'Cause I am the one who never leaves it

And so I am imprisoned by death now

Some memories are dangerous to live with.
