This Is What She Is

When every nerve at its peak

Cries with agony,

she waits days for

A SIGH OF RELIEF.

Conquering all the ways,

flourishing and nourishing

the world around her,

resonates supplications

for a blessed life.

She tires digits till

tik-tok hits coffee o'clock,

with an expectation

of a bit of fun

along with dignity and integrity.

But,alas!

When the voice of conscience

Is marketed,

Maturity sold and honesty auctioned,

she is wrongly accused.

And, her echo fades.

Still, she strides miles ahead

to fill her void.
