Thinking

As I sit here thinking,

I hear things clinking,

It's dead silence,

All I can think of is it's you using your guidance,

I sit up and look around,

The flashbacks of your accident remind me of a battleground,

I sat there that night,

Putting up a fight,

Because I knew if I would've had a bad dream,

I remember us talking about our favorite book author,

Ever since that night no one has been the same,

I kept thinking I was the blame,

Everybody has changed,

We all know we are in pain,

We all realize that since your accident our family has gotten close,

That's how family relationships should go,

We all sit here trying not to think about that night,

It gives us all a fright,

All that traffic,

Made it even more tragic,

Karsh boulevard is where it happened I was there,

Me and you made quite the sister pair.

This poem is about my baby sister dying in my arms all because of a car.
