All together, blabbering away, on topics which are meaningless 

On the terrace, the sun warms all our faces, with talks all of us being wet

Followers and likes of real-life we do discuss 

Rumors lost, truths lay bare, with no internet our phones do not buzz

Real smiles I do see, laughing our hearts out we make the vibe

Running after each other, hugging one another, bonds becoming stronger reach another height

These are the days I live for

When pages of agony and pain are all torn

A rough day you have been through, all around seems too gloomy

Returning to your house, all dark around, you suddenly hear "It's me "

Recovering from the mini-heart attack, you see a person with a pain-relieving smile

You know not what you see, but it all seems less vile

That person holds you tight, a catharsis you undergo and hear "Happy birthday "

That angel is your best friend and remembers what you forgot, your smile finally finds away

These are the days I live for

When pages of agony and pain are all torn

An old man loses his balance and falls, to offer help a kid of five runs towards him

Two ends of life you see meeting, all other glories do see dim

A lady is helping a limping dog, who is all clad in red dye 

Your smile does widen as you see the love and gratitude in the creature's watery eyes

A Muslim celebrating Diwali, a Hindu skylarking in eid 

The INDIANS saluting the national flag, proud of what all they did

These are the days I live for

When pages of agony and pain are all torn

When u forgive each other, treating them like your brother

Giggling and laughing when joint families have lunch together 

When parents are proud of their children, when u say ' I will' instead of 'I may'

When I see people with deadly circumstances smile and say "because it's a new day"

When someone achieves a milestone and still humbly knows he ought to cover miles

Then I smile, knowing I may get to see and spread a billion more smiles
