There Lived A Sparrow

There Lived A Sparrow

There lived a sparrow

Weak, dying, sad

But alive,

Alive and surviving

He was alone,

Lost his home, soul, love

His everything

He was surviving,

Surviving but not living

He tried everything,

Tried everything to live

But oh boy,

He couldn't succeed

He didn't have much time

Yes he was dying

His life was dark,

As dark as night,

Soon one day,

In the darkest sky,

In the darkest sky, he saw the stars,

A star he only needed to survive,

Survive or maybe even live

He followed the stars,

He was about to be alive again,

But yet surviving

But night too fades away,

With night, stars too left him,

They came and went,

And came and went

He was again broke,

Again dying, again surviving

He lost his trust,

Ge lost all hope,

Hope kept him alive,

But now he was dead inside,

A sweet nightingale saw him suffer,

She gave him hope, she gave him love

Sparrow still was broke,

But he got love,

Love which he desired,

Love which he deserved,

He was alone,

But not anymore

He now had hope,

He now remembered,

Remembered what life actually was,

He was living again,

Living again but not for himself,

This time his life was nightingale's,

She lends him life,

She shared him with love,

The sparrow is living now,

But only for the nightingale,

The day nightingale flies away,

The living will too, and so the sparrow

Well, sparrow is a small bird,

Can't die these many times

But yea sparrow did live once again,

And he was surely happy again
