The Withered Leaves
The Withered Leaves
The lush green leaves hung joined and bound,
On the tall tree strong and sound.
Be the daylight sun or the glowing dark moon,
The luster of the leaves shines out in every mood.
The gush of the wind shakes the leaves,
Enchanting in a dance with enigmatic zeal.
The leaves dance in soothing sync and pattern,
Exuriating its youthful grace altogether.
The time flies and the memories made,
The members of the family increase by their age.
Variety of ages persuade prism of experience,
Marking the canopy with green and brown sprinkles.
Spring withers and autumn sets down
For life, the old must go to make space for the young and naive.
So starts the journey of decoronation of the responsibilities,
With the brownish withers taking humble adobe under the tree.
The withered gloomy leaves as they are pronounced,
And the kind of dejection met as they are sorted out,
Utterly fails the credit earned in the youth,
And palpalise the life given by their inactive, retired might.
Their presence was made nebulous by the constant neglection,
Attracts a variety of being by silent humification.
The torn wrinkled leaves turned into a smooth brown layer,
Strengthen the base of the adobe for the safety of its creatures.
Decoring they lie by the roundabout
Oozes the serenity and calm of a strong persona.
The drizzling experience facilitates reverential adore,
The tree earns the position of a hole and pure anymore.
The groove signs the warning that dare to disrespect,
Let's invite the wrath of God with utter menace.
The old thus shielding the newbies,
By giving off their enigma, colour, and spree to the indebted beings.
The old, withered leaves add a plethora of dynamics to nature's soul,
I wonder why they are badged with pessimism and abhor.
Ungraciously when nature's call is treated,
History gets defiled, and the future is mistreated.
Guided by the duties and graced by the rights,
Behold the old ones in the righteous light.
Being the roots of the present and manure for the future,
The brownish leaves need reverential salvation.
